Cecilia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Sonic Power the free kick. Xabat Palomares's late challenge caught a Inter de Sonic Power's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xabat Palomares helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cecilia SC's Xabat Palomares got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Americo Villalon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andres Izquierdo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Inter de Sonic Power's Vicente Agusto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Izquierdo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mario Bergues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andres Izquierdo. Cecilia SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Cecilia SC booed when Inter de Sonic Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guagua Serbia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carnero Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Belloso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Reyo in the 28th minute of play forced Cecilia SC's goalkeeper Andres Izquierdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Americo Villalon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andres Izquierdo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vicente Agusto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Izquierdo having to interfere. Andres Izquierdo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Reyo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hidalgo Abrea kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jaime Belloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Vicente Agusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Izquierdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Cecilia SC got a freekick which was hit by Coyette Bascones. In the 49th minute of the match Inter de Sonic Power got a corner. Cecilia SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Americo Villalon ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Blanco was the one to do the kick off. Cecilia SC's Andres Izquierdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Agusto in the 58th minute of play. Genaro Reyo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andres Izquierdo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cecilia SC's goalkeeper Andres Izquierdo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Inter de Sonic Power's Vicente Agusto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Izquierdo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xacintu Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Vicente Agusto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Sonic Power's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Agusto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andres Izquierdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genaro Reyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Andres Izquierdo made a huge save. Vicente Agusto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Andres Izquierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Genaro Reyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Vicente Agusto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andres Izquierdo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Genaro Reyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Izquierdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Vicente Agusto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Genaro Reyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Inter de Sonic Power supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Inter de Sonic Power would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
