Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Barricat started the match with the kick off. 12 minutes into the match, Cangonama's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Bedes came free, but Carlos-Alberto Barra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cangonama's Carlos-Alberto Barra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlín Escalzo in the 14th minute of play. Carlos-Alberto Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlín Escalzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Felipe Barricat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes of play, ChOLaSsO's Lucas Bedes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos-Alberto Barra was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Simon Saer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Cangonama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Saer couldn't finish the play. Simon Saer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calderón Barriga having to interfere. When Felipe Barricat came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the ChOLaSsO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barricat couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes of play, ChOLaSsO's Felipe Barricat made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos-Alberto Barra was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
If Simon Saer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torres Alzaga in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calderón Barriga saved ChOLaSsO from getting behind. Calderón Barriga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Saer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torres Alzaga took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Calderón Barriga. Calderón Barriga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Calderón Barriga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torres Alzaga in the 68th minute of play. Torres Alzaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, ChOLaSsO's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Saer came free, but Calderón Barriga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calderón Barriga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Saer in the 85th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Torres Alzaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cangonama and the ChOLaSsO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cangonama's Torres Alzaga got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cangonama's Carlos-Alberto Barra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Cangonama from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle went the supporters of ChOLaSsO were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cangonama side.
