In the 7th minute, Huayquichuma FC got a penalty, and Zorion Prats placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Xavier Bayas charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Bayas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Huayquichuma FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Bayas. Jeremias Gamiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Norberto Caseda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeremias Gamiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Pachon in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Rello saved Huayquichuma FC from getting behind. Franco Rello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Vara in the 33rd minute of play. Huayquichuma FC's Cántaro Cedeno got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Huayquichuma FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Xoan Antoñana hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Leandro Vara made a precise shot to the right of Franco Rello. Huayquichuma FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Leandro Vara succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Cántaro Cedeno kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Huayquichuma FC's Franco Rello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Pachon in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Gamiz in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Caseda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Andoas SC's zone, Jeremias Gamiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Caseda came out of the goal and Jeremias Gamiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Enrique Pachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andoas SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Pachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Pachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Rello having to interfere. When Washington Alaiza fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huayquichuma FC's protests and gave Washington Alaiza a yellow card for diving instead. Jeremias Gamiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Norberto Caseda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Washington Alaiza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Caseda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Gamiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Pachon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Franco Rello skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Pachon got free with Franco Rello in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
