After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Zambrano Juanes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dundee UTD's supporters rose to their feet, but Zambrano Juanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matamba Villadiego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torres Socobio was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Washington Gorbea rounded Guayacanes Fútbol Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. 58 minutes into the game, Dundee UTD's Zambrano Juanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zambrano Juanes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-9. Guayacanes Fútbol Club's Matamba Villadiego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Guayacanes Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute Zambrano Juanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matamba Villadiego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dundee UTD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
