The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Tangay SC's Francisco Llul got a free kick in the 4th minute. Martinez Salabaste kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club De Cuervos's zone, Geancarlos Paiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urritz Labarra came out of the goal and Geancarlos Paiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ysmael Crujeiras in the 19th minute of play forced Tangay SC's goalkeeper Orlando Cedofeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urritz Labarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geancarlos Paiz in the 25th minute of play. Félix Carredelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Urritz Labarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urritz Labarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geancarlos Paiz's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Geancarlos Paiz made a precise shot to the right of Urritz Labarra. Club De Cuervos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Club De Cuervos's Ysmael Crujeiras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Orlando Cedofeita. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. Orlando Cedofeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ysmael Crujeiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Urritz Labarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Carredelo in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Tangay SC's Orlando Cedofeita got control of the ball when Lorenzo Cajigal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Tangay SC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Francisco Llul hit a great ball. If German Balado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Geancarlos Paiz came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tangay SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geancarlos Paiz couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Félix Carredelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Urritz Labarra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Escobar Vicioso hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geancarlos Paiz was the one to do the kick off. Orlando Cedofeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Cajigal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Geancarlos Paiz lined in a short shot 3-3 behind a frustrated Urritz Labarra. Félix Carredelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urritz Labarra having to make a save. When Tangay SC's Geancarlos Paiz in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. German Balado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Orlando Cedofeita. 4-5. If Geancarlos Paiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Cedofeita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Cajigal went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
