AKD Eagles's Nacho Pangua got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Lerma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Valentim Arriano. Patojos Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Nacho Pangua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ibarra Bonachea came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the AKD Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ibarra Bonachea couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Somarribas's late challenge caught a AKD Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Somarribas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AKD Eagles booed when Patojos Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Somarribas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes AKD Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Lerma. After recieving a nice pass, Patojos Futbol Club's Urritz Lombraña tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to AKD Eagles getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Walter Oquerruri hit a great ball. Christobal Ayala struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Alvaro Ramila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patojos Futbol Club. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Patojos Futbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
