After having played for 7 minutes, Washington Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dundee UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Washington Gorbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Zambrano Juanes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC KODONÍSO's Tyrone Mañueco. Tyrone Mañueco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blanco Orejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Vagrande in the 21st minute of the match. Tyrone Mañueco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torres Socobio went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Blanco Orejas was a little too slow when Jaramillo Asencion got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-2. Tyrone Mañueco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Renán Caspe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KODONÍSO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dundee UTD the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC KODONÍSO's Renán Caspe got a free kick in the 37th minute. FC KODONÍSO's Tyrone Mañueco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Gorbea in the 38th minute of play. Tyrone Mañueco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torres Socobio in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Aurelio Bosch made a precise shot to the right of Tyrone Mañueco. FC KODONÍSO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Washington Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone Mañueco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Dundee UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cántaro Barbera to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute of the match Renán Caspe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blanco Orejas skillfully saved the ball. Yiyo Ratra's late challenge caught a FC KODONÍSO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yiyo Ratra helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Dundee UTD got a freekick which was hit by Yiyo Ratra. Tyrone Mañueco had great luck who in the 63rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Washington Gorbea from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 65 minutes of play, FC KODONÍSO's Jaramillo Asencion made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blanco Orejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blanco Orejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaramillo Asencion in the 70th minute of play. Blanco Orejas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaramillo Asencion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Francisco Salero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Dundee UTD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torres Socobio to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Bosch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Tyrone Mañueco made a huge save. Washington Gorbea struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tyrone Mañueco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dundee UTD. Washington Gorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Victoriano Vagrande made a precise shot to the right of Blanco Orejas. Dundee UTD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. When Luzuriaga Teijeira fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dundee UTD's protests and gave Luzuriaga Teijeira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dundee UTD getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luzuriaga Teijeira hit a great ball. After 97 minutes of play, FC KODONÍSO's Jaramillo Asencion made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blanco Orejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC KODONÍSO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
