Cántaro Barbera hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dundee UTD's zone, Christobal Ayala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blanco Orejas came out of the goal and Christobal Ayala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patojos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Valentim Arriano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urritz Lombraña kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Torres Socobio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dundee UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torres Socobio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dundee UTD's Blanco Orejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Dundee UTD from getting a goal against them. When Washington Gorbea came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Dundee UTD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Washington Gorbea couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Washington Gorbea put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valentim Arriano. After a rather tough play, Dundee UTD's Cántaro Barbera got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Christobal Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes Dundee UTD got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Tineo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Gorbea in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentim Arriano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, Patojos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polo Paradelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Washington Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Arriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentim Arriano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Gorbea in the 45th minute of play. Christobal Ayala's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Blanco Orejas firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torres Socobio was the one to do the kick off. Blanco Orejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christobal Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Blanco Orejas came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Patojos Futbol Club's Christobal Ayala. But to his dismay, Christobal Ayala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Valentim Arriano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Bosch in the 64th minute. Christobal Ayala scored 3-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blanco Orejas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zambrano Juanes got free with Valentim Arriano in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urbez Valbuena charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbez Valbuena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Patojos Futbol Club's Urbez Valbuena got a free kick in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dundee UTD's Washington Gorbea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentim Arriano. That made the score 3-4 after 75 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the match, Washington Gorbea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valentim Arriano, 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Gorbea in the 85th minute of play forced Patojos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Valentim Arriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Christobal Ayala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blanco Orejas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. If Washington Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dundee UTD players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Patojos Futbol Club from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
