AKD Eagles's Alvaro Ramila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaramillo Asencion in the 17th minute of play. When Walter Oquerruri fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKD Eagles's protests and gave Walter Oquerruri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AKD Eagles getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. After 33 minutes, Jaramillo Asencion made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. AKD Eagles's Alvaro Ramila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Nacho Pangua managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKD Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Nacho Pangua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyrone Mañueco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Videl Casoliva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. Tyrone Mañueco had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Rodrigo Lerma's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Renán Caspe hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC KODONÍSO booed when AKD Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Mendaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Villatoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Ramila having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Victoriano Vagrande made the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Villatoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. In the 86th match minute, AKD Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Conejero to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes FC KODONÍSO got a freekick which was hit by Renán Caspe. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ibarra Bonachea in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tyrone Mañueco saved FC KODONÍSO from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Pangua in the 89th minute of play forced FC KODONÍSO's goalkeeper Tyrone Mañueco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Vagrande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
