Juan-Alfredo Villabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bagui Monterros, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Guayacanes Fútbol Club defense, Bagui Monterros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan-Alfredo Villabel. The Guayacanes Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan-Alfredo Villabel should have stopped the shot. Guayacanes Fútbol Club's Juan-Alfredo Villabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Padierna in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gerónimo Mantzke managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S. Shadow's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerónimo Mantzke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan-Alfredo Villabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Bagui Monterros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan-Alfredo Villabel. Guayacanes Fútbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bagui Monterros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 20th minute Xelo Guau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan-Alfredo Villabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan-Alfredo Villabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xelo Guau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bagui Monterros in the 23rd minute of play forced Guayacanes Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Juan-Alfredo Villabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, C.S. Shadow's Bagui Monterros made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan-Alfredo Villabel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bagui Monterros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan-Alfredo Villabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Bagui Monterros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan-Alfredo Villabel having to make a save. The supporters of C.S. Shadow booed when Guayacanes Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuban Cervantez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan-Alfredo Villabel came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by C.S. Shadow's Bagui Monterros. But to his dismay, Bagui Monterros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Juan-Alfredo Villabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xelo Guau in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Rodolfo Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Vitor Gadañon in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.S. Shadow's Xelo Guau. 42 minutes into the game, C.S. Shadow's Bagui Monterros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan-Alfredo Villabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 47th minute, Texeira Creus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Fabio Padierna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan-Alfredo Villabel skillfully saved the ball. The Guayacanes Fútbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.S. Shadow were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucio Oxarra to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rodolfo Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bagui Monterros came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the C.S. Shadow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bagui Monterros couldn't finish the play. Bagui Monterros did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Juan-Alfredo Villabel 58 minutes into the match. If Fabio Padierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Oxarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lucio Oxarra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Juan-Alfredo Villabel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Juan-Alfredo Villabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bagui Monterros in the 71st minute of play. Fabio Padierna struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Juan-Alfredo Villabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S. Shadow. Bagui Monterros might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan-Alfredo Villabel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bagui Monterros ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerónimo Mantzke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Alfredo Villabel having to interfere. Juan-Alfredo Villabel made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Xelo Guau sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Guayacanes Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Xuban Cervantez hit a great ball. Bagui Monterros scored 0-9 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan-Alfredo Villabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, C.S. Shadow's Zambrano Montoya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. In the 97th minute, C.S. Shadow's Bagui Monterros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. C.S. Shadow's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
