Carnot's Rolando Cantoral was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Jaime Canido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Villarreal Lujan during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Lorenzo Cajigal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club De Cuervos's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Cajigal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carnot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club De Cuervos the free kick. In the 86th minute Ysmael Crujeiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Abrante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villarreal Lujan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Abrante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ysmael Crujeiras in the 90th minute of the match. Ysmael Crujeiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Abrante having to interfere. Carnot succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Club De Cuervos had controlled the match.
