Blanco Orejas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Dundee UTD's Blanco Orejas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Dundee UTD from getting a goal against them. After 19 played minutes Club De Cuervos got a freekick which was hit by Martinez Salabaste. In the 24th minute of the match German Balado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blanco Orejas skillfully saved the ball. Urritz Labarra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Washington Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Luzuriaga Teijeira charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luzuriaga Teijeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club De Cuervos booed when Dundee UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luzuriaga Teijeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urritz Labarra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yiyo Ratra went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Dundee UTD's goalkeeper Blanco Orejas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Cajigal. The Club De Cuervos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urritz Labarra should have stopped the shot. Blanco Orejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Cajigal in the 59th minute of play. Lorenzo Cajigal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urritz Labarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Gorbea in the 66th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Dundee UTD got a freekick which was hit by Cántaro Barbera. Urritz Labarra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torres Socobio in the 72nd minute. When Martinez Salabaste fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club De Cuervos's protests and gave Martinez Salabaste a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Washington Gorbea sped through Club De Cuervos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urritz Labarra. The Dundee UTD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
