But to his dismay, Sverker Vidman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Vidman in the 15th minute of play forced CAIW's goalkeeper Victoriano Galdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Galdo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Vidman in the 17th minute of the match. Marcelo Reza made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Zilar Castelo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Cavadas in the 27th minute of play forced FC Seven's goalkeeper Marcelo Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, CAIW's Marcelo Reza threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hector Cavadas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in FC Seven's zone, Freddy Asencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Reza came out of the goal and Freddy Asencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Galdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Boladeras, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Hector Cavadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Méndez Orgaz got free with Marcelo Reza in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Cavadas in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half FC Seven were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sverker Vidman to make the kick off. Hugo Boladeras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Galdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, CAIW's goalkeeper Victoriano Galdo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Boladeras. 59 minutes into the game, Alex Cuadro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Seven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAIW the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of FC Seven:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CAIW:s goal. In the 64th minute, Mårten Harlén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Seven's Marcelo Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Méndez Orgaz in the 68th minute of play. Victoriano Galdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asencio Falguera, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Méndez Orgaz in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Seven's goalkeeper Marcelo Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Sverker Vidman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Galdo was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
