An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Graziani in the 11th minute of play forced UD Calug's goalkeeper Urbasa Planes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UD Calug's Urbasa Planes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Trancoso in the 13th minute of play. Ubelteso Amundarain scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Urbasa Planes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ubelteso Amundarain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. Urbasa Planes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubelteso Amundarain in the 23rd minute of play. Florian Wesener made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ovidio Asteguieta sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th match minute, UD Calug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernandez Sopeña to maneuver through the defense. Urbasa Planes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Graziani in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ubelteso Amundarain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Barcelona Sporting Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Graziani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Urbasa Planes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Graziani in the 55th minute of play. When Esteban Miñon fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Calug's protests and gave Esteban Miñon a yellow card for diving instead. Alejo Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to UD Calug getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zuri Lario hit a great ball. Ubelteso Amundarain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Urbasa Planes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ubelteso Amundarain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Olivarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Francisco Olivarez sped through UD Calug's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urbasa Planes. Barcelona Sporting Club's Ubelteso Amundarain got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ubelteso Amundarain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejo Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ubelteso Amundarain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubelteso Amundarain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Ariel Graziani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Urbasa Planes. Ariel Graziani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Graziani got free with Urbasa Planes in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Barcelona Sporting Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UD Calug throughout the match.
