Fernando Morelle took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Galdo. Victoriano Galdo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hector Cavadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. A hard shot 10 in the game by Méndez Orgaz from a close distance when the talented Urbasa Planes managed to make a qualified save. UD Calug's players were relieved. Esteban Miñon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Cavadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Urbasa Planes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbasa Planes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Cavadas in the 19th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Cavadas in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbasa Planes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CAIW's Victoriano Galdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Asteguieta in the 26th minute of play. Zilar Castelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Urbasa Planes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Zuri Lario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Calug's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAIW the free kick. After a rather tough play, UD Calug's Zuri Lario got a free kick in the 29th minute. A hard shot by Hector Cavadas from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Urbasa Planes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 38 minutes into the game, Fernando Morelle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Calug's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAIW the free kick. After a rather tough play, UD Calug's Fernando Morelle got a free kick in the 39th minute. The long shot by Hector Cavadas in the 39th minute really tested Urbasa Planes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lopez Sociats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes of play, UD Calug's Esteban Miñon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Galdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victoriano Galdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Asteguieta in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Esteban Miñon made the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Asteguieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Victoriano Galdo made a huge save. Victoriano Galdo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ovidio Asteguieta sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Ovidio Asteguieta could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Victoriano Galdo however easily saved by the left post. CAIW's Hector Cavadas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Méndez Orgaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbasa Planes came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by CAIW's Lopez Sociats. But to his dismay, Lopez Sociats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Zilar Castelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. When CAIW's Hector Cavadas in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Calug's goalie prevented a goal. When Zilar Castelo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the CAIW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zilar Castelo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of CAIW booed when UD Calug was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Eguiara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Calug's zone, Lopez Sociats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbasa Planes came out of the goal and Lopez Sociats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lopez Sociats kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ovidio Asteguieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Victoriano Galdo made a huge save. If Hector Cavadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CAIW walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
