Florian Wesener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Cavadas in the 5th minute of play. Florian Wesener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lopez Sociats, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Ubelteso Amundarain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Barcelona Sporting Club's Florian Wesener got control of the ball when Méndez Orgaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, CAIW's Hector Cavadas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 32nd minute of the match, Méndez Orgaz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florian Wesener was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Florian Wesener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Cavadas in the 40th minute of play. Florian Wesener was a little too slow when Hector Cavadas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Ubelteso Amundarain made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, CAIW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vistruario Ucedo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Méndez Orgaz in the 65th minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Florian Wesener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CAIW booed when Barcelona Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urti Cadimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Méndez Orgaz in the 83rd minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Florian Wesener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CAIW's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
