The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Teberga got free with Teofilio Ubago in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejandro Garriga scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilio Ubago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Maximo Teberga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Teofilio Ubago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejandro Garriga kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 24thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Sao FC's keeper Teofilio Ubago was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 26th minute, West Town SC's Maximo Guadiana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teofilio Ubago. Teofilio Ubago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Maximo Teberga took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Teofilio Ubago to make any attempt to save it. Teofilio Ubago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Pestaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Doblas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilio Ubago having to interfere. After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Maximo Teberga got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cotera Cañas was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Borjas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Urtsin Ramon made a huge save. With a little luck, West Town SC's Urtsin Ramon got control of the ball when Pedro Borjas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
