The Calentura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, CD Guallagro's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Villagomez came free, but Criban Goyanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Castella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Criban Goyanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uxio Oñez in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esterilla Aponte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Xamin Ubach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Criban Goyanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calentura's Ruperto Castella managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodrigo Azpeitia in the 24 minute of the game. Esterilla Aponte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Iruretagoyena in the 26th minute of play. Arturo Ahelle's late challenge caught a Calentura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Ahelle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute, Arturo Ahelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, CD Guallagro's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Villagomez came free, but Criban Goyanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CD Guallagro getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tonio Babia hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Calentura's Martin Herrador nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Criban Goyanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Criban Goyanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Villagomez in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Uxio Oñez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Rodrigo Azpeitia in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Calentura's Ruperto Castella. Calentura's Boris Villagomez got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimmy Iruretagoyena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Calentura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xamin Ubach to maneuver through the defense. Criban Goyanes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Herrador's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Criban Goyanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Castella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Xamin Ubach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, CD Guallagro's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Villagomez came free, but Criban Goyanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uxio Oñez couldn't finish the play. Xamin Ubach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Criban Goyanes having to interfere. A collision led to CD Guallagro getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Valentin Arrateguibel hit a great ball. Calentura played a much better game than CD Guallagro and deserved their victory. The CD Guallagro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
