Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 5961, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rey Sebastian took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Hernandez Pandal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cotera Cañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CD Guabillo's Ledesma Valines got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 17 minutes, Ledesma Valines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Guabillo and the Sao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, CD Guabillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ledesma Valines to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cotera Cañas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Sao FC's Urki Herquinigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Muc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Teofilio Ubago came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Guabillo's Rey Sebastian. But to his dismay, Rey Sebastian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Leonardo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernandez Pandal, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Ledesma Valines was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cotera Cañas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Muc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th match minute, Sao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Espejo to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Borjas in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Pedro Borjas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cotera Cañas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernandez Pandal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute of the game, Cotera Cañas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Humberto Polo charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Polo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CD Guabillo's Humberto Polo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Sao FC's Fidel Alsua got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CD Guabillo's Leonardo Muc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save CD Guabillo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urki Herquinigo got free with Leonardo Muc in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairón Obana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Muc having to make a save. Oscar Espejo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Leonardo Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sao FC's Fidel Alsua was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Oscar Espejo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Muc came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Espejo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 69th minute. If Fidel Alsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Alsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fidel Alsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Muc having to interfere. With a little luck, CD Guabillo's Leonardo Muc got control of the ball when Jairón Obana tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urki Herquinigo in the 86th minute of play forced CD Guabillo's goalkeeper Leonardo Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sao FC's Fidel Alsua got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernandez Pandal in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Muc saved CD Guabillo from getting behind. CD Guabillo's Leonardo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Alsua in the 96th minute of play.
