Ataulfo Enciso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ataulfo Enciso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xamin Ubach in the 5th minute of play. Ataulfo Enciso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Herrador, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Xamin Ubach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataulfo Enciso having to interfere. Martin Herrador struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ataulfo Enciso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calentura. Martin Herrador received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ataulfo Enciso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zornin Albalate got free with Esterilla Aponte in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Herrador in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ataulfo Enciso saved CD Ceilan from getting behind. Esterilla Aponte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Barreneche in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Calentura's Fabian Lorenzana got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Aguirre Gallano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute, Mauricio Barreneche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th match minute, CD Ceilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asensio Gordo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Zornin Albalate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Ceilan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zornin Albalate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Calentura's Martin Herrador sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ataulfo Enciso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Xamin Ubach came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Calentura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xamin Ubach couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xamin Ubach in the 37th minute of play forced CD Ceilan's goalkeeper Ataulfo Enciso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Ceilan's goalkeeper Ataulfo Enciso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, CD Ceilan's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Villagomez came free, but Ataulfo Enciso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Calentura booed when CD Ceilan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Martin Herrador made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to CD Ceilan getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leandro Aguirre hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Fabian Lorenzana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ataulfo Enciso, passed just outside the right post. Ataulfo Enciso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Villagomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee ignored CD Ceilan's protests and gave Weather Osma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Weather Osma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 82 minutes, Xamin Ubach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calentura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xamin Ubach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boris Villagomez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ataulfo Enciso came out and tried to block the shot, but Boris Villagomez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 83rd minute. Boris Villagomez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Esterilla Aponte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aguirre Gallano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
