Domingo Cerredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes in the game, Alberto Ibarlucea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Domingo Cerredo having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Lucas Rego threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sanchez SC's Mariano Argumosa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, CD Chantilin's Domingo Cerredo got control of the ball when Alberto Ibarlucea tried to sneak it across the goal line. CD Chantilin's Domingo Cerredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save CD Chantilin from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Lucas Rego in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sanchez SC's Americo Chandivilla. Sanchez SC's Ronny Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Mazariegos in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Trespuentes got free with Domingo Cerredo in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sanchez SC booed when CD Chantilin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Tello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Rego hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Fidel Queiruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sanchez SC's Americo Chandivilla managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lucas Rego in the 46 minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Nicolas Trespuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Trespuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Cerredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of CD Chantilin booed when Sanchez SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Dean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Parrales Borroel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Ortega having to interfere. Domingo Cerredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Ortega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Mazariegos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Cerredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. George Dean charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Dean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. George Dean hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Rene Chillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Chantilin's Domingo Cerredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Ibarlucea in the 86th minute of play. Domingo Cerredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ibarlucea in the 89th minute of the match.
