With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Cebada in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xicu Aguileta saved Roxas from getting behind. Radomil Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yambay Pinedo in the 19th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Yambay Pinedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuchudel's Radomil Kosmatka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Segundo Balbin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cuchudel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Balbin couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes, Camacho Burell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roxas and the Cuchudel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camacho Burell kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Cebada in the 24th minute of play forced Roxas's goalkeeper Xicu Aguileta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Cebada in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xicu Aguileta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauricio Cebada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Balbin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xicu Aguileta having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Mauricio Cebada made a precise shot to the right of Xicu Aguileta. Roxas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johnny Mendaña during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cuchudel getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Johnny Mendaña hit a great ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuchudel's goalkeeper Radomil Kosmatka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yambay Pinedo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Yambay Pinedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Radomil Kosmatka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mauricio Cebada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Segundo Balbin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mauricio Cebada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Manuel Gascon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
