Ronny Ortega made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Diego Portal sent off a good shot on target. Sanchez SC's Americo Chandivilla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marques Merodo, made in the 12th minute of the game. If Alberto Ibarlucea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanchez SC's George Dean got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jaramijo's zone, Rene Chillon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Porfiro came out of the goal and Rene Chillon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaramijo's Severo Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Dean in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Matias Bouceda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaramijo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanchez SC the free kick. Rene Chillon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Severo Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Dean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Sanchez SC's Rene Chillon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Porfiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rene Chillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Severo Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Diego Portal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Porfiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Ibarlucea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Sanchez SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Chandivilla to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Jaramijo's Severo Porfiro got control of the ball when Alberto Ibarlucea tried to sneak it across the goal line.
