After 9 minutes of play, Justice League's Edwin Villayres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Cerredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justice League's Edwin Villayres got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Victor Ibaizabal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Cerredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in CD Chantilin's zone, Victor Ibaizabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Cerredo came out of the goal and Victor Ibaizabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justice League's Hal Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Mazariegos in the 21st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Edwin Villayres put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Domingo Cerredo. Victor Ibaizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Domingo Cerredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Villayres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Cerredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Ibaizabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

A collision led to Justice League getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mario Barriola hit a great ball. Hal Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Queiruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Domingo Cerredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Villayres in the 56th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes CD Chantilin got a freekick which was hit by Parrales Borroel. In the 65th minute, Justice League's Mario Barriola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. If Victor Ibaizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Barriola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CD Chantilin's Xayveon Jonsansoro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Domingo Cerredo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edwin Villayres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 78 minute of play. Edwin Villayres might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Cerredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Villayres ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Justice League's goal looked a bit too open when Parrales Borroel came free, but Hal Villegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
