Justice League's Hal Villegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Justice League from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute, George Dean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sanchez SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Ronny Ortega had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Edwin Villayres's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Edwin Villayres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Chandivilla kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Hal Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Chandivilla in the 19th minute of play. Alberto Ibarlucea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Hal Villegas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Alberto Ibarlucea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanchez SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Ibarlucea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hal Villegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rene Chillon charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene Chillon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sanchez SC's Rene Chillon got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Sanchez SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Villayres came free, but Ronny Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Edwin Villayres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Ortega. Sanchez SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Villayres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Xzavaier Saucedo made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Americo Chandivilla however managed to control. Ronny Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ibaizabal in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Ibarlucea to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Nicolas Trespuentes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sanchez SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Sanchez SC's Ronny Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Villayres in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Dean in the 60th minute of play forced Justice League's goalkeeper Hal Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Villerias made a great header on Sanchez SC's corner, it was just that Justice League's Hal Villegas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute, George Dean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hal Villegas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 66th minute Alberto Ibarlucea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hal Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alberto Ibarlucea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hal Villegas was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute Sanchez SC were awarded a corner. Gustavo Villerias went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Sanchez SC's corner Gustavo Villerias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hal Villegas quite easily take care of the ball. If Edwin Villayres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Sanchez SC got a freekick which was hit by Xzavaier Saucedo. Edwin Villayres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ronny Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hal Villegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ibarlucea in the 85th minute of the match. Bone Fano made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Mario Barriola. 90 minutes into the match, Sanchez SC's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Villayres came free, but Ronny Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Sanchez SC's George Dean made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hal Villegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Sanchez SC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
