Spectators: 7956 (Terracing: 5968, Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arboleda Valcuende took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Segundo Balbin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bernardo Cerejido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Roma de Ecuador FC's Augusto Aroztegui got a free kick in the 7th minute. A collision led to Cuchudel getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Diaz Pinos hit a great ball. Arboleda Valcuende struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Radomil Kosmatka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roma de Ecuador FC. In the 15th minute, Marlon Lordaliego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radomil Kosmatka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Marlon Lordaliego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Cuchudel got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Mendaña. After a rather tough play, Roma de Ecuador FC's Marlon Lordaliego got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Roma de Ecuador FC's zone, Diego Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Cerejido came out of the goal and Diego Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th match minute, Roma de Ecuador FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuri Salina to maneuver through the defense. Cuchudel's Johnny Mendaña shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bernardo Cerejido but with some difficulty. 32 minutes into the match, Roma de Ecuador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Cebada came free, but Bernardo Cerejido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Cuchudel's Diego Poz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Cerejido was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the game, Diego Poz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Bernardo Cerejido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marlon Lordaliego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Radomil Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th match minute, Cuchudel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fleitas Morales to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Cebada was the one to do the kick off. Bernardo Cerejido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Poz in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Unai Beguellina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radomil Kosmatka, 3-2. Augusto Aroztegui kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bernardo Cerejido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Mendaña in the 65th minute of play. Bernardo Cerejido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Cebada, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Roma de Ecuador FC's Bernardo Cerejido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Poz in the 69th minute of play. Arboleda Valcuende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomil Kosmatka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Segundo Balbin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Cerejido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Cebada, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Radomil Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arboleda Valcuende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zuri Salina in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomil Kosmatka saved Cuchudel from getting behind. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Zuri Salina sped through Cuchudel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radomil Kosmatka. In the 88th minute Mauricio Cebada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Cerejido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Mauricio Cebada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuchudel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Cebada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Barea hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Mauricio Cebada came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cuchudel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Cebada couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fleitas Morales in the 94th minute of play forced Roma de Ecuador FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Cerejido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Roma de Ecuador FC defense, Mauricio Cebada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Cerejido. The Roma de Ecuador FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Cerejido should have stopped the shot.
