Spectators: 7979 (Terracing: 5985, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucio Ucedo started the match with the kick off. Segundo Balbin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Ucedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Radomil Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lucio Ucedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Balbin got free with Texeira Frecha in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Segundo Balbin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuchudel's Radomil Kosmatka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Ucedo in the 32nd minute of play. When Fleitas Morales came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Cuchudel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fleitas Morales couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Cebada was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes S.D. RAYO got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Mendaza. Texeira Frecha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Cebada in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Diego Poz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Cuchudel's Johnny Mendaña seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Johnny Mendaña the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cuchudel protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Johnny Mendaña had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd minute, one of Cuchudel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cuchudel. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for S.D. RAYO. Xuan Fombona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Radomil Kosmatka. 0-1. 69 minutes into the game, Cortez Talavera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.D. RAYO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuchudel the free kick. After 69 played minutes S.D. RAYO got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Talavera. Radomil Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Ucedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Tenorio Seto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Radomil Kosmatka. Tenorio Seto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Obregón Represa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radomil Kosmatka. Cuchudel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucio Ucedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomil Kosmatka having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Mauricio Cebada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
