Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1679, VIP seats: 146) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ignacio Lauro made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Jaramijo's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael de la Rosa came free, but Severo Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stalin Cabezuela in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Rodezno came free, but Roberto Bermudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torres Lluba kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Severo Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Hermosa to maneuver through the defense. Ximen Arria's shot from long distance in the 15th minute was not bad at all, but River Plate's Roberto Bermudo knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Tolino during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jaramijo booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Diego Portal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Bermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Lauro in the 21st minute of play. Severo Porfiro came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Ignacio Lauro. But to his dismay, Ignacio Lauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Ignacio Lauro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Rafael de la Rosa suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 34 played minutes Jaramijo got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Rodezno. Ignacio Lauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severo Porfiro having to make a save. A collision led to Jaramijo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Valdo Rodezno hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Lauro in the 37th minute of play forced Jaramijo's goalkeeper Severo Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Xzaiver Vicioso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Porfiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jaramijo's Severo Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Lauro in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, River Plate's Xzaiver Vicioso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Porfiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half River Plate were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Portal made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Diego Portal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Bermudo. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Portal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Diego Portal hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Severo Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stalin Cabezuela in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Jaramijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Hinojos to maneuver through the defense. Stalin Cabezuela took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Porfiro. Severo Porfiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. River Plate's Ignacio Lauro got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stalin Cabezuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Severo Porfiro made a huge save. Severo Porfiro made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Xzaiver Vicioso sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Ignacio Lauro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. In the 79th minute, Xzaiver Vicioso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severo Porfiro. The goal made the score 1-8. In the 85th minute Xzaiver Vicioso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Jonatan Rioseco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Rioseco in the 90th minute of play. Valdo Rodezno hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Rioseco in the 94th minute of play forced Jaramijo's goalkeeper Severo Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over River Plate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jaramijo throughout the match.
