Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1748, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Raul Mazariegos kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Raul Mazariegos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Chantilin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Mazariegos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Cerejido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Queiruga in the 6th minute of play. Parrales Borroel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Cerejido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Parrales Borroel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Marlon Lordaliego notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CD Chantilin's Domingo Cerredo. Domingo Cerredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Domingo Cerredo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Marlon Lordaliego sent off a good shot on target. Uxio Guedella charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uxio Guedella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, CD Chantilin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uxio Guedella to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Aroztegui came free in the 24th minute and tried to tip the ball over Domingo Cerredo, but to the joy of CD Chantilin's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Marlon Lordaliego did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Domingo Cerredo 27 minutes into the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Raul Mazariegos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Chantilin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Mazariegos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Roma de Ecuador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Parrales Borroel came free, but Bernardo Cerejido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roma de Ecuador FC's Bernardo Cerejido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Mazariegos in the 37th minute of play. If Arboleda Valcuende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zuri Salina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Domingo Cerredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 46th minute Raul Mazariegos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Cerejido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Cerejido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Tello in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arboleda Valcuende to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, CD Chantilin's Parrales Borroel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Cerejido. Bernardo Cerejido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Zuri Salina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Raul Mazariegos came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the CD Chantilin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Mazariegos couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Cerejido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Queiruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Roma de Ecuador FC's Bernardo Cerejido got control of the ball when Parrales Borroel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 minutes, Diaz Fortis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Chantilin and the Roma de Ecuador FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, CD Chantilin's Lucas Rego seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lucas Rego the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CD Chantilin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lucas Rego had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Domingo Cerredo had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Marlon Lordaliego's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Parrales Borroel got free with Bernardo Cerejido in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Parrales Borroel managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Chantilin's supporters rose to their feet, but Parrales Borroel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Cerejido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 minutes of play, Roma de Ecuador FC's Marlon Lordaliego made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Cerredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Arboleda Valcuende's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Cerredo was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Sebastian Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Cerejido was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Xayveon Jonsansoro. CD Chantilin's Domingo Cerredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Mayorga in the 96th minute of play. In the 99th minute of the match Roma de Ecuador FC got a corner. CD Chantilin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marlon Lordaliego ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roma de Ecuador FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
