Victor Lozada took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hal Villegas. Hal Villegas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, Justice League's Edwin Villayres made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ysidro Cuadrado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ysidro Cuadrado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Ibaizabal went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Justice League's Hal Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Lozada in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Victor Lozada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hal Villegas was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Wichimi FC's Ysidro Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcés Bribiesca in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Justice League was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Barriola to maneuver through the defense. Edson Guipuzcoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edwin Villayres was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Justice League's goalkeeper Hal Villegas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Lozada. Insua Peon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Hal Villegas made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Rodriguez Varsana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Insua Peon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hal Villegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Edwin Villayres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Justice League fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 73 minutes into the match, Wichimi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garcés Bribiesca came free, but Ysidro Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Edwin Villayres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Ysidro Cuadrado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Victor Lozada came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Wichimi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Lozada couldn't finish the play. Torres Tarrats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Villayres in the 86th minute of play forced Wichimi FC's goalkeeper Ysidro Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Ibaizabal charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Ibaizabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 90 minutes into the match, Wichimi FC's Torres Tarrats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hal Villegas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Torres Tarrats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wichimi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Torres Tarrats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hal Villegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Justice League's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
