Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabricio Deaguero started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute of the match, Jesus Michel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michael Carbasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 11th match minute, West Town SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chatruc Urrutia to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Orden got free with Michael Carbasa in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 minutes of play, West Town SC's Fabricio Deaguero made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Ibern was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabriel Ibern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, West Town SC's Matias Hostos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Ibern was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the West Town SC defense, Gomez Ben kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Carbasa. The West Town SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Carbasa should have stopped the shot. Michael Carbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Michel in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, West Town SC's Michael Carbasa got control of the ball when Gomez Ben tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabricio Deaguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gabriel Ibern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chatruc Urrutia kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Michel was the one to do the kick off. Emilio Villarmea hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Gomez Ben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Carbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gomez Ben took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Carbasa. Michael Carbasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 62 minutes into the match, West Town SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Michel came free, but Michael Carbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Sangay SC's Marco Orden made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Carbasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Jesus Michel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Carbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Carbasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gomez Ben went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 84th match minute, Sangay SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Orden to maneuver through the defense. When Chatruc Urrutia fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Town SC's protests and gave Chatruc Urrutia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sangay SC booed when West Town SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatruc Urrutia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Carbasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gomez Ben's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Sangay SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
