Carnot's Nando Torralbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Carredelo in the 20th minute of play. Nando Torralbo came out of the goal and Alexander Anduiza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chico Carabajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidal Morillo having to interfere. Vidal Morillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Lizaso in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Alexander Anduiza made the kick off in the second half. The Weeknunka players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
