An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomon Almonte in the 46th minute of play forced Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Martin Conde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Victoro Selgas's late challenge caught a Barbudos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoro Selgas helped the player get up and apologised. Victoro Selgas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Zaldos in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Logroño's goalkeeper Samuel Falguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Conde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 66 minutes into the game, Salomon Almonte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Martin Conde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Conde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salomon Almonte's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Barbudos FC's goalkeeper Martin Conde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salomon Almonte. In the 82nd minute Salomon Almonte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Conde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salomon Almonte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Conde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Salomon Almonte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbudos FC's Martin Conde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Conde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salomon Almonte in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute of the match Victoro Selgas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Conde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Club Deportivo Logroño's Salomon Almonte got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salomon Almonte scored 0-8 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Conde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Club Deportivo Logroño left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barbudos FC.
