Chico Carabajo started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, USFQ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Lizaso came free, but Damian Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Vellito Manzano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nando Torralbo, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vellito Manzano in the 10th minute of play forced Carnot's goalkeeper Nando Torralbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Vellito Manzano came free, but Nando Torralbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of USFQ FC booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Alcedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes, Julian Salcines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnot and the USFQ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of USFQ FC booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Salcines didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Vellito Manzano came free, but Nando Torralbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Carabajo in the 34th minute of play forced USFQ FC's goalkeeper Damian Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando Torralbo was a little too slow when George Masana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Carabajo in the 44th minute of play forced USFQ FC's goalkeeper Damian Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Masana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, USFQ FC's goalkeeper Damian Dubilas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Lizaso. In the 55th minute of the match, Chico Carabajo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damian Dubilas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 56 minutes, Chico Carabajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Carabajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute, Juan Lerena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, George Masana managed to get in a good position for a shot. USFQ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but George Masana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nando Torralbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Stalin Trilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If George Masana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Vellito Manzano came free, but Nando Torralbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vellito Manzano in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Torralbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the game, Chico Carabajo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carnot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USFQ FC the free kick. A collision led to Carnot getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Chico Carabajo hit a great ball. After 78 minutes, George Masana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USFQ FC and the Carnot players grew even worse after the yellow card. George Masana kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. George Masana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in USFQ FC's zone, Chico Carabajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Dubilas came out of the goal and Chico Carabajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Lizaso during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Angel Lizaso.
