Yoelvis Pereta made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Garcia Jado sent off a good shot on target. Garcia Jado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Yoelvis Pereta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29th minute of the match Arnoldo Bazquez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yoelvis Pereta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yoelvis Pereta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garcia Jado's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Garcia Jado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoelvis Pereta was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A collision led to UD Zoo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ysidro Osas hit a great ball. Yoelvis Pereta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bojarte in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47thth minute of the game Garcia Jado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Zoo's Yoelvis Pereta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Remolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Garcia Jado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoelvis Pereta having to interfere. In the 57th minute Garcia Jado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoelvis Pereta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, UD Zoo's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Bojarte came free, but Yoelvis Pereta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to UD Zoo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Joel Bujan hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garcia Jado in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoelvis Pereta saved UD Zoo from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Jorge Bojarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yoelvis Pereta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. UD Zoo's Yoelvis Pereta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Bojarte in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Astillero del Guayas got a corner. UD Zoo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. But to his dismay, Paiva Escabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 71st minute, Ferrer Villamil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Paiva Escabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astillero del Guayas's supporters rose to their feet, but Paiva Escabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yoelvis Pereta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yoelvis Pereta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Jado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astillero del Guayas's Paiva Escabi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Garcia Jado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoelvis Pereta was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Yoelvis Pereta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garcia Jado's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Paiva Escabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yoelvis Pereta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garcia Jado in the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Garcia Jado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoelvis Pereta was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Bojarte in the 91st minute of play forced UD Zoo's goalkeeper Yoelvis Pereta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Garcia Jado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rene Goyanes managed to get in a good position for a shot.
