Yoelvis Pereta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Martinez Gobantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Audaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Martinez Gobantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yoelvis Pereta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Lopez Vizcarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UD Zoo's Yoelvis Pereta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by España Tornero in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Atletico Audaz booed when UD Zoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umea Villagarcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Martinez Gobantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, UD Zoo's goal looked a bit too open when Dannes Estarrona came free, but Yoelvis Pereta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Atletico Audaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by España Tornero to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, España Tornero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UD Zoo's Yoelvis Pereta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by España Tornero in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Atletico Audaz getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dannes Estarrona hit a great ball. Lopez Vizcarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Ferrer Villamil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeruko Manso. Atletico Audaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferrer Villamil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lopez Vizcarra to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferrer Villamil struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Zeruko Manso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Zoo. Yoelvis Pereta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from España Tornero, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in UD Zoo's zone, Lopez Vizcarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yoelvis Pereta came out of the goal and Lopez Vizcarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeruko Manso was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Ferrer Villamil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferrer Villamil really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. If España Tornero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lopez Vizcarra came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Atletico Audaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lopez Vizcarra couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, UD Zoo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ysidro Osas to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes, Atletico Audaz's Martinez Gobantes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yoelvis Pereta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Audaz reached it. In the 79th minute, Lopez Vizcarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yoelvis Pereta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 82 minutes, Dannes Estarrona made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. UD Zoo's Yoelvis Pereta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The goal made the score 2-4. 96 minutes into the game, Héctor Iza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Zeruko Manso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle went the supporters of UD Zoo were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Atletico Audaz side.
