An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Moutinho in the 5th minute of play forced Prophecy's goalkeeper Virginijus Raugalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Prophecy defense, Jacob Moutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virginijus Raugalas. The Prophecy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virginijus Raugalas should have stopped the shot. Prophecy's Virginijus Raugalas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Moutinho in the 17th minute of play. Virginijus Raugalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Prophecy's Suphi Özgunes got a free kick in the 34th minute. Virginijus Raugalas came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Cohambi's Jacob Moutinho. But to his dismay, Jacob Moutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Isaias Perojo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Bienienda, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Başar Uzel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prophecy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Cohambi the free kick. After 41 played minutes Prophecy got a freekick which was hit by Başar Uzel. In the 47th minute Juliusz Debowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Perojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Zubillaga to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Prophecy's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Moutinho came free, but Virginijus Raugalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Moutinho kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Prophecy's keeper Virginijus Raugalas was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The corner ended in Hernan Montealegre almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Prophecy's Virginijus Raugalas did a great save. Isaias Perojo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hernan Montealegre hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cuero Sufiria in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Bogumil Kilarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaias Perojo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuero Sufiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the CD Cohambi defense, Juliusz Debowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Perojo. The CD Cohambi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Perojo should have stopped the shot. Jacob Moutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Virginijus Raugalas made a huge save. The supporters of CD Cohambi booed when Prophecy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suphi Özgunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Adrian Zubillaga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Virginijus Raugalas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 95 minutes into the match, CD Cohambi's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Bienienda came free, but Isaias Perojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Boris Arcaute fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Cohambi's protests and gave Boris Arcaute a yellow card for diving instead. The CD Cohambi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Cohambi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
