Venceslas Erus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Zubillaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, CD Cohambi's goal looked a bit too open when Bagui Iturrate came free, but Zuzen Aldana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Bagui Iturrate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Eguia in the 19th minute of play forced CD Cohambi's goalkeeper Zuzen Aldana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes CD Cohambi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ur Arri who took care of the corner kick. AFC's Ur Arri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zuzen Aldana in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Zinoviy Osipov fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC's protests and gave Zinoviy Osipov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AFC's Zinoviy Osipov got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a little luck, AFC's Venceslas Erus got control of the ball when Jacob Moutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, AFC's Bagui Iturrate nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zuzen Aldana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Vik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Ur Arri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC and the CD Cohambi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ur Arri hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AFC's zone, Adrian Zubillaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venceslas Erus came out of the goal and Adrian Zubillaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of AFC booed when CD Cohambi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Montealegre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 minutes, Ismael Santiyan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC and the CD Cohambi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ismael Santiyan hit a great ball. Adrian Zubillaga's late challenge caught a AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Zubillaga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AFC booed when CD Cohambi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Zubillaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venceslas Erus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Moutinho in the 58th minute of the match. Udalaitz Solares kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the AFC defense, Jacob Moutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venceslas Erus. The AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venceslas Erus should have stopped the shot. After 75 minutes of play, CD Cohambi's Bogumil Kilarski made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venceslas Erus was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute of the match CD Cohambi got a corner. AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hernan Montealegre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bagui Iturrate kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Jacob Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslas Erus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Vik struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Zuzen Aldana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC. After having played for 95 minutes, Gabriel Vik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Vik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
