In the 2nd match minute, IRON WORLD CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Vilas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vicente Leon getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nicolas Behr hit a great ball. Sixto Mascaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Sixto Mascaran notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vicente Leon's Eugenio Alvaredo. Eugenio Alvaredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Mascaran in the 17th minute of play forced Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Eugenio Alvaredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Mascaran in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Alvaredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes, Sixto Mascaran made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vicente Leon's Eugenio Alvaredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugenio Alvaredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urritz Nogueira in the 20th minute of play. Eugenio Alvaredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Porta, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The IRON WORLD CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basarab Marincean should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the game, IRON WORLD CLUB's Urritz Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Alvaredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sixto Mascaran scored 1-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Alvaredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugenio Alvaredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urritz Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ysmael Raigadas hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Xusto Bocaran, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vicente Leon's Eugenio Alvaredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Mascaran in the 46th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, IRON WORLD CLUB's Vicente Vilas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Alvaredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After the first half IRON WORLD CLUB were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sixto Mascaran made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Leon's Eugenio Alvaredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Vilas in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, IRON WORLD CLUB's Sixto Mascaran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Alvaredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Etxeberri Camara got free with Eugenio Alvaredo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Etxeberri Camara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Alvaredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. IRON WORLD CLUB's Ubelteso Ponce was substituted for Leonard Nienajadlo. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vicente Leon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xusto Bocaran was slow to take the kick. During this time IRON WORLD CLUB's players had a chance to rest. In the 71st minute, Vicente Vilas made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Alvaredo. Vicente Leon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. In the 74th minute, IRON WORLD CLUB's Etxeberri Camara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Eugenio Alvaredo was a little too slow when Urritz Nogueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-9. Vicente Leon's Eugenio Alvaredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Vicente Leon from getting a goal against them. After 81st play minutes Etxeberri Camara shot 1-10, a short shot which went by Eugenio Alvaredo and just under the crossbar into goal. Leo Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zarbonin Ludueña charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zarbonin Ludueña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Zarbonin Ludueña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basarab Marincean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Espiga Aranzabal in the 97th minute of the match. IRON WORLD CLUB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
