Carlos Sueiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oso Amezaga having to make a save. Joao Ramos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Caicedo Berrondo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Urre Villa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. GUAYACO. After having played for 18 minutes, Caicedo Berrondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. GUAYACO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caicedo Berrondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When MamiBella FC's Carlos Sueiro in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. GUAYACO's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute of the match MamiBella FC got a corner. C.A. GUAYACO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aguirre Pulido ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led MamiBella FC's Aguirre Pulido to fire away a dangerous shot which Oso Amezaga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, MamiBella FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caicedo Berrondo came free, but Urre Villa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind MamiBella FC's goalkeeper Urre Villa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. GUAYACO from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urre Villa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Urre Villa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caicedo Berrondo in the 49th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caicedo Berrondo to strike the kick off in the second half. MamiBella FC's Urre Villa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save MamiBella FC from getting a goal against them. Urre Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caicedo Berrondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. GUAYACO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aguirre Pulido was slow to take the kick. During this time MamiBella FC's players had a chance to rest. MamiBella FC's Jan Örtendahl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oso Amezaga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 68th minute, Augusto Obarenes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute of the game Aguirre Pulido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Carlos Sueiro made a precise shot to the right of Oso Amezaga. C.A. GUAYACO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Carlos Sueiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oso Amezaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Mendoza Joseph made a precise shot to the right of Urre Villa. MamiBella FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aguirre Pulido in the 89th minute of the match. Urre Villa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Cueto in the 91st minute. C.A. GUAYACO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
