González Juan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 于鹰建, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. González Juan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 于鹰建 in the 15th minute of the match. Pancho Cevallos made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Mateus Arvelo sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Jorge Valdivia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but González Juan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Club Sport Emelec getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lirian Gacev hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Club Sport Emelec's goal looked a bit too open when Roderik Callens came free, but González Juan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 于鹰建 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without González Juan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Roderik Callens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but González Juan was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. PAJARRACO FC's Pancho Cevallos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save PAJARRACO FC from getting a goal against them. Pancho Cevallos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateus Arvelo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Roderik Callens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roderik Callens took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised González Juan. González Juan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Club Sport Emelec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Valdivia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After the first half PAJARRACO FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

González Juan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAJARRACO FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Mandrak in the 63rd minute of play forced PAJARRACO FC's goalkeeper Pancho Cevallos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, PAJARRACO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Mandrak came free, but Pancho Cevallos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Sport Emelec's Lirian Gacev managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Criban Merayo in the 67 minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Slawomir Hatman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 70 played minutes PAJARRACO FC got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Hatman. Delgado Murueta hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, 于鹰建 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of González Juan. The goal made the score 1-4. Esteban Udobro hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 于鹰建 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. González Juan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. González Juan made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when 于鹰建 sent off a good shot on target. After 89 minutes Club Sport Emelec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Slawomir Hatman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PAJARRACO FC's Slawomir Hatman to fire away a dangerous shot which González Juan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 91st minute, Eduardo Zambranos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roderik Callens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but González Juan made a huge save. The supporters of PAJARRACO FC booed when Club Sport Emelec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse De Weijgaert didn't get a good kick on the ball.
