After 11 played minutes Vicente Leon got a freekick which was hit by Xandro Inestrosa. After a rather tough play, Vicente Leon's Espiga Aranzabal got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vicente Leon's zone, Xeromo Llarena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Alvaredo came out of the goal and Xeromo Llarena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Xeromo Llarena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xeromo Llarenas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Eugenio Alvaredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eugenio Alvaredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xeromo Llarena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xeromo Llarena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Alvaredo having to make a save. Jacobo Urraburu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lavalle Dieguez in the 27th minute of the match. Fabian Sandoval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eugenio Alvaredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Xeromo Llarena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xeromo Llarena got free with Eugenio Alvaredo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio Mansilha made a great header on KRAKEN FC's corner, it was just that Vicente Leon's Eugenio Alvaredo managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Vicente Leon's Mercado Mañe got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lavalle Dieguez was the one to do the kick off. Eugenio Alvaredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xeromo Llarena in the 55th minute of the match. Xeromo Llarena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xeromo Llarena in the 63rd minute of play forced Vicente Leon's goalkeeper Eugenio Alvaredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jacobo Urraburu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicente Leon. After 79 minutes of play, KRAKEN FC's Xeromo Llarena made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Alvaredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Vicente Leon booed when KRAKEN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xeromo Llarena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Urraburu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Barbosa in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Vicente Leon's goal looked a bit too open when Xeromo Llarena came free, but Eugenio Alvaredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes Vicente Leon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cássio Mansilha who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on KRAKEN FC's corner Cássio Mansilha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eugenio Alvaredo quite easily take care of the ball. Jacobo Urraburu was a little too slow when Xandro Inestrosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 5-1. The audience was convinced that Fabian Sandoval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Alvaredo was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
