Johnny Arona charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xzavion Reborio was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Rodrigo Caborredondo in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Revolución Joao FC's Angel Quintana. Agustin Pillado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Joel Ahonen made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Joel Ahonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Freitas. Xesus Cortes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 73 played minutes Revolución Joao FC got a freekick which was hit by Burbano Charro. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Sérgio Silveira replaced Agustin Pillado. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caicedo Berrondo in the 96th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Joel Ahonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Revolución Joao FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. GUAYACO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
