The referee ignored Aries F.C.'s protests and gave Xzaver Iriusta a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Aries F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xzaver Iriusta. Cláudio Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cláudio Senna hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Wilmer Ganado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Sugoi having to interfere. Orense SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cláudio Senna 16 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orfilio Vaz in the 24th minute of play forced Aries F.C.'s goalkeeper Baldomiro Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aries F.C.'s goalkeeper Baldomiro Sugoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Aries F.C. booed when Orense SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Lusa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Juan Cienfuegos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Orense SC and the Aries F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Orense SC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Cienfuegos. Baldomiro Sugoi came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Orense SC's Wilmer Ganado. But to his dismay, Wilmer Ganado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cláudio Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. Orense SC's Sergiu Stăniloaie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Broberg in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kıvanç Karay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aries F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kıvanç Karay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Stăniloaie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aries F.C.'s Baldomiro Sugoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Aries F.C. from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Senna struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sergiu Stăniloaie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aries F.C.. After 75 minutes, Isaac Laboy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aries F.C. and the Orense SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the game, one of Aries F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
