The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adrian Grøndahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Senna in the 8th minute of play. 巩飞铮 hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match David Broberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrian Grøndahl skillfully saved the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Aries F.C.'s Cláudio Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Grøndahl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sánchez Alcano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Baldomiro Sugoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adrian Grøndahl came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Aries F.C.'s David Broberg. But to his dismay, David Broberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 23 minutes, Sánchez Alcano made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Aries F.C.'s Baldomiro Sugoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aries F.C. were furious when Xzaver Iriusta was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute, one of Aries F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aries F.C.. Baldomiro Sugoi had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Zuzen Gama's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 31st minute Aries F.C. were awarded a corner. David Broberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After 38 minutes of play, Aries F.C.'s Cláudio Senna made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Grøndahl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrian Grøndahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kıvanç Karay, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Zuzen Gama's late challenge caught a Aries F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zuzen Gama helped the player get up and apologised. Zuzen Gama kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. During the 47th minute of the match Zuzen Gama completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zuzen Gama a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 48th match minute, G2O was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuzen Gama to maneuver through the defense.

Aries F.C.'s Baldomiro Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Romero in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aries F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Tabares was slow to take the kick. During this time G2O's players had a chance to rest. Cláudio Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. G2O were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Aries F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuel Tabares took the corner. G2O's Samuel Tabares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baldomiro Sugoi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Aries F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sánchez Alcano came free, but Baldomiro Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Senna in the 64th minute of play forced G2O's goalkeeper Adrian Grøndahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Luís Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. G2O's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Cláudio Senna scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Grøndahl, making the score, 2-4. When G2O's Sánchez Alcano in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aries F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Baldomiro Sugoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sánchez Alcano's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute João Modrić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sánchez Alcano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match, Cláudio Senna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adrian Grøndahl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aries F.C.'s Baldomiro Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sánchez Alcano in the 83rd minute of play. Cláudio Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Adrian Grøndahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Aries F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sánchez Alcano came free, but Baldomiro Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Sugoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Romero in the 89th minute of play. If Cláudio Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Aries F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Jesco. In the 94th minute, João Modrić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G2O fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Sánchez Alcano scored 4-4 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Sugoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the G2O players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
