Thanks to some nice moves Iván Miralles could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Lucas Servicial however easily saved by the left post. In the 21st minute of the match Deportivo Cuenca got a corner. Active FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Coca ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Cuenca's corner Mario Coca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucas Servicial quite easily take care of the ball. Iván Miralles might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Servicial. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iván Miralles ran back to his position shaking his head. Heros Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Herbert Parajewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Servicial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Cuenca's Lucas Servicial threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herbert Parajewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Iván Miralles sped through Active FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Servicial. The audience was convinced that Benito Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heros Viana was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Herbert Parajewski made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Active FC got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Morejon. Mario Coca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Ximeno Olmos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Servicial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Active FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Efrain Morejon hit a great ball. Lucas Servicial showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Parajewski in the 73rd minute of the match. When Deportivo Cuenca's Herbert Parajewski in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Parajewski in the 80th minute of play forced Active FC's goalkeeper Lucas Servicial to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Herbert Parajewski sped through Active FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Servicial. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Herbert Parajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Cuenca's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Parajewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Servicial breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Wes Hollandts came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Deportivo Cuenca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wes Hollandts couldn't finish the play. Lucas Servicial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Parajewski in the 90th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play, Deportivo Cuenca's Herbert Parajewski made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Servicial was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herbert Parajewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Servicial having to interfere. Lucas Servicial came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Cuenca's Herbert Parajewski. But to his dismay, Herbert Parajewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Deportivo Cuenca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
