Javita's Dannes Valmayor quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kaviedes Burgueño, made in the 4th minute of the game. Javita's Batı Sağlamer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Riguez in the 6th minute of play. Batı Sağlamer came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarayacu's Ordonez Llibre. But to his dismay, Ordonez Llibre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, Omar Tariego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Riguez hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sarayacu booed when Javita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugutz Montane didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ordonez Llibre in the 27th minute of play forced Javita's goalkeeper Batı Sağlamer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Ramiro Barba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sarayacu getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Xaver Gobantes hit a great ball. The supporters of Sarayacu booed when Javita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dannes Valmayor didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ordonez Llibre in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batı Sağlamer saved Javita from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Peter Riguez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batı Sağlamer. Javita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Riguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Batı Sağlamer came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarayacu's Kaviedes Burgueño. But to his dismay, Kaviedes Burgueño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Batı Sağlamer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ordonez Llibre, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Tariego was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Iwan Burdalski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Javita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwan Burdalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Viñe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tenorio Estebanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batı Sağlamer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ordonez Llibre in the 83rd minute of the match. Javita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Peter Riguez scored to the left of an out of position Batı Sağlamer, making the score, 2-4. In the 87th minute, Kaviedes Burgueño reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Batı Sağlamer. The goal made the score 2-5. Vincente Cienfuegos lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the match was over Sarayacu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Javita throughout the match.
