Andres Viñe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidalgo Gallegos in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Sarayacu getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Peter Riguez hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Fabricio Vedeja made a precise shot to the right of Andres Viñe. Sarayacu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Xaver Gobantes's late challenge caught a Loja S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xaver Gobantes helped the player get up and apologised. Xaver Gobantes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Sarayacu's goalkeeper Andres Viñe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Peres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hidalgo Gallegos in the 76th minute of play forced Sarayacu's goalkeeper Andres Viñe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Ordonez Llibre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabricio Vedeja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Andres Viñe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Loja S.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sarayacu.
