Blair Blue charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blair Blue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BarceAlfredo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Blair Blue hit a great ball. The supporters of Deportivo Cuenca booed when BarceAlfredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Somavilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Mario Coca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Cuenca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Coca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, BarceAlfredo's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Parajewski came free, but Zacarias Cigüenza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BarceAlfredo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Iván Miralles scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Cigüenza, making the score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Ximeno Olmos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of BarceAlfredo's Zacarias Cigüenza. Zacarias Cigüenza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 18 played minutes Deportivo Cuenca got a freekick which was hit by Iván Miralles. Heros Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Aparecido in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Cuenca's Chatruc Berga got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, BarceAlfredo's Zacarias Cigüenza got control of the ball when Herbert Parajewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heros Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Aparecido in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Herbert Parajewski made the kick off in the second half. Heros Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Blue in the 51st minute of the match. Herbert Parajewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zacarias Cigüenza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Cuenca's zone, Dráusio Aparecido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heros Viana came out of the goal and Dráusio Aparecido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heros Viana made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gastão Leão sent off a good shot on target. Heros Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gastão Leão in the 61st minute of the match. Zacarias Cigüenza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Parajewski in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Herbert Parajewski notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of BarceAlfredo's Zacarias Cigüenza. Zacarias Cigüenza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Heros Viana made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Dráusio Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. Herbert Parajewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Cigüenza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. BarceAlfredo's Zacarias Cigüenza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Parajewski in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match, Manuel Nobal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Heros Viana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 83 played minutes BarceAlfredo got a freekick which was hit by Azconzábal Masseda. Zacarias Cigüenza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximeno Olmos, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Blue in the 88th minute of play forced Deportivo Cuenca's goalkeeper Heros Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Deportivo Cuenca's goalkeeper Heros Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gastão Leão. For all the effort they put into the match, the BarceAlfredo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Cuenca.
