Spectators: 8394 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 169) After a defensive mix-up in Sarayacu's zone, Felipe Paniagua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Viñe came out of the goal and Felipe Paniagua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 6 in the game by Peter Riguez from a close distance when the talented Robustiano Sesuldo managed to make a qualified save. Damian’s Team's players were relieved. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Damian’s Team's goalkeeper Robustiano Sesuldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Ordonez Llibre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaviedes Burgueño in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Sarayacu's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Boix came free, but Andres Viñe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Ayoví Angeles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Damian’s Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarayacu the free kick. Ayoví Angeles kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Sarayacu's Ordonez Llibre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Damian’s Team's goalkeeper Robustiano Sesuldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robustiano Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veto Carvajal in the 31st minute. After taking down the ball on Damian’s Team's corner Rogerio Rocafort fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andres Viñe quite easily take care of the ball. Andres Viñe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The wind increased when Felipe Paniagua made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sarayacu booed when Damian’s Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flor Cardona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ordonez Llibre in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaviedes Burgueño in the 56th minute of play forced Damian’s Team's goalkeeper Robustiano Sesuldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Riguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Viñe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Paniagua, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Ordonez Llibre came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sarayacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ordonez Llibre couldn't finish the play. Andres Viñe made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Martin Boix sent off a good shot on target. Sarayacu's Andres Viñe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Paniagua in the 74th minute of play. Andres Viñe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Paniagua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Ordonez Llibre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarayacu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sarayacu's Andres Viñe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Sarayacu from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Clusella hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Damian’s Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
